Hello, I’m Jake.
I am a Glasstone Fellow in Astrophysics at the University of Oxford and a Supernumerary Fellow at Exeter College. My research focuses on the atmospheres of exoplanets: how we observe them, how we model them and how confidently we can interpret the results.
Alongside my research, I consult on astrophysics and scientific AI, build computational tools and communicate astrophysics through short-form videos. I want cutting-edge astronomy to be understandable without losing the nuance that makes it interesting.
